Bennie Michael Martin

Mr. Bennie Michael Martin, age 62 of Fowler Road, West Union, South Carolina passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the Cottingham House, Seneca, South Carolina.

A son of Helen Agnew and the late Louis Edwin Martin, he was born November 30, 1956 in Albany, Georgia having lived most of his life in Athens, Georgia. He was a self-employed surveyor, attended Bread of Life Church and an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Helen Agnew and Jim Biwer of Athens, Georgia; wife, Lucia Sanchez Martin of West Union, South Carolina; daughter, Autumn Dean of Roswell, Georgia; four sons, Michael Turner of Denver, Colorado, Paul Martin of Lavonia, Byran Martin of Dubuque, Iowa and Jacob Eberhart of Crawford, Georgia; step-daughter, Cecilia Beria of Seneca, South Carolina; thirteen grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 4, 2019, 1 O’clock p.m. at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Dr. Patricia Mann officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Wayne Maxwell, David Agnew, Michael Turner, Paul Martin, Bryan Martin and Timothy Davis.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, 11 O’clock a.m. until time to leave for the service. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Bennie Michael Martin.
