Richard "Rick" Meyer, Jr.

Richard “Rick” Meyer, Jr, age 57, of Buford, GA passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard A. Meyer, Sr. Mr. Meyer is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Dawn Meyer; sons, Shawn Meyer, Nicholas Meyer, Jacob Meyer, all of Buford; daughters, Lauren Cole (Michael) of Dacula, Kayla Meyer and Madison Meyer, both of Buford; grandchildren, Lily Cole and Bennett Cole of Dacula, Noah Meyer of Buford, Kaden Meyer of Cumming; mother, Carolyn Lewandski (David), of Fredonia, NY; brother, Scott Meyer (Sabrina) of Hoschton; sister Melissa Robertson (John) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; nieces Sarah Meyer of Hoschton and Paige Robertson, of Mt. Pleasant and many friends and extended family.

Mr. Meyer was born on May 27, 1962 in Memphis, TN. He was a graduate of Fredonia High School in Fredonia, NY. He was owner of Concrete Solutions, and was an active member at Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford.  Mr. Meyer loved football, particularly Buffalo Bills and UGA football, and he loved Nascar.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Ivy Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Craig Dale and Rev. Ted Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 1, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.  Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to NE GA Hospice in memory of Rick Meyer.
