Sammie Ann Vandiver Peek, age 91 of Commerce, GA passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2019 at her residence.
Born on Nov. 5, 1928 in Homer, GA, she was a CNA with BJC Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Dean Peek and Johnny Ray Peek, both of Maysville; two daughters, Janice Ann Steadman, Commerce, Debra Ruth Hollis, Maysville; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, Aug. 30, 2019 at Tyrus Baptist Church with the Rev. Bo Whisnant and Rev. Charles Elrod officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
