Dorothy 'Dot' Waters

Dorothy "Dot" Waters, age 91, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019.

Mrs. Waters was born in Hall County to the late Clifford and Bernice Warwick Skelton. She was a retired teacher at King High School in Tampa, Florida and was a member of the Cleveland Worship Center and also attended The Generation Church.

Survivors include husband, James Waters, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Elaine McLean, Cleveland; daughter, Linda McLean, Cleveland; grandchildren, Elena and Tom Lovieno, Gaines and Molly Harrison, Danielle and Justin Sosebee, Felicia and Nathan Thomas; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Hugh and Louise Skelton; sister, Debbie Helton; and several great-granchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Saturday, August 17, 2019 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Marc Turner, Rev. Darryl Lovell, and Rev. Hugh Skelton will officiate. Interment will follow in Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
