Lester Junior Holloway

Mr. Lester Junior Holloway, age 79 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at his residence following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Don Elrod will officiate.  Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Holloway was born January 21, 1940 in Cleveland, Georgia to the late Bill Holloway and Lilana Adge Holloway.  Lester was retired as a carpenter and was known for his skilled work.  He was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Shirley Black Holloway for 57 years.  To know Lester was to love him, he always had a smile and a friendly word for everyone.  Lester was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Mr. Holloway is survived by a number of cousins, and many, many friends, that thought of him as family.
