Mrs. Bonnie Carroll McFarlin Holley, age 87 of 1200 Winder Highway, Dacula passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Crossroads Hospice in Dacula.
A daughter of the late Preston and Ruth Bryant Carroll, she was born January 17, 1932 in Franklin County, Georgia where she lived most of life, having lived the last few years in Dacula. She was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class. She was twice married, first to Rev. Hollis McFarlin who passed away in 1992 and second to Ray Holley who passed away in 2018.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Al and Donna McFarlin of Carnesville; granddaughter, Holly Crystal Sanders and husband Lyles of Carnesville; two great-grandchildren, Keilin and Talon; brother and sister-in-law, George and Vera Carroll of Elberton; two sisters, Linda Kelley and Betty Williams both of Dacula; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019, 2 O’clock p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church with The Reverend Dr. Tommy Childress officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Gerry Carroll, Richard Brown, Rod Farrow, Ricky Harrison, Greg McFarlin and Mike Barrett and should assemble at the funeral home by 1:00 p.m.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time to leave for the service. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Bonnie McFarlin Holley.
