Faye Moon Brown

Faye Moon Brown, age 86, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Pinson Brown; sons, James Brown and Johnny Brown, Sr, and parents, William Grover Moon and Evie Brownlee Moon. Mrs. Brown is survived by her son, Harold Brown; daughter Rachel Brown; former daughter-in-law, Patricia L. Roberts and husband, Russell Gibson, Auburn, GA; six grandchildren, Cindy, David Brown, Marla Brown, Johnny Mack Brown, Jr. and wife, Lucy, Denver, NC, Bo Saxton, Marshall Brown; great grandchildren, Johnny Mack “Trey” Brown, III, Denver, NC, Bailey Brown, and Jeremy; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. Mrs. Brown was born on January 22, 1933 in Lilburn, Georgia. She made draperies in her home in Oakwood, GA for a long time, and she had worked for Joy’s Drapery Shop in Tucker, GA for many years. She resided in Lilburn, GA for thirty years before moving to Oakwood.  Mrs. Brown was of the Baptist faith. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Luxomni Baptist Church Cemetery in Lilburn, GA.
