Carolyn "Joyce" Moore Stewart

Mrs. Carolyn “Joyce” Moore Stewart age 82 of Jefferson, Ga passed away on Friday August 09, 2019 at Gwinnett Medical Center- Lawrenceville, Ga following an extended illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday August 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Stewart was born on January 24, 1937 in Tampa, Florida to the late Clyde Ennis Moore, Sr. and Lettie Thomas Moore. Joyce worked as a paralegal for 30 years in the Gainesville area and attended Hebron Baptist Church for many years until her health wouldn’t allow her to anymore. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert James Stewart, Sr., and her brother, Clyde Ennis Moore, Jr.

Joyce is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Howard Giles of Jefferson, son and daughter-in-law, Jack, Jr.  and Sylvia Brock of Duluth, grandchildren and spouses, Chris and Kay- Leigh Giles, Kevin and Heather Giles, Tricia  and Nick Custenborder, Patrick and Mia Brock, grandchild and fiancé, Katherine Brock and Alex Galvez, 8 great-grandchildren, and a number of other family and friends.
