Hugh Martin Reynolds, age 84, of Cumming, GA, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at Season’s Hospice. Hugh was born in 1934 to the late William and Jewie Reynolds. He was a United States Airforce veteran. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ball Ground, GA. While attending Calvary Baptist Church, Hugh served the church as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and Choir Director. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Lewis and Vivian Reynolds, and Arlen and Barbara Reynolds; and niece, Diane Holt-Reynolds.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Mary Reynolds; children, Vendyl “Vince” and Paula Reynolds, Stephan “Steve” and Miriam Reynolds; grandchildren, Tonya Clark, Kevin Reynolds, Monica Tallant, Jeana Coley, Missi Romo, Phillip Reynolds, and Niki Reynolds; great grandchildren, Willow Jones, Austin Reynolds, Kayla Cleveland, Courtney and Tyler Skidmore, Colten Coley, Kayden Cleveland, and Elias Lehmann; niece, Valerie Barr; and nephews, Rick and Randy Reynolds; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Reynolds will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Calvary Baptist Church in Ball Ground, GA, with Rev. Jeff Hill officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
