Janet Turcotte Robert

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Janet Turcotte Robert, age 83 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Friday, August 2, 2019.  Mrs. Robert was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Noella Duhamel Turcotte, was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Athens, Georgia and was a retired Registered Nurse whose career spanned fifty years.  Mrs. Robert was an animal lover, especially her cat and loved to crochet.  In addition to her parents, loved ones preceding her is a brother, Lucien A. Turcotte, and her husband Donald Edward Robert.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Bailey of Griffin, two sons, Donald Robert of Jefferson and Richard Robert of Decatur.  Two brothers, Richard and Robert Turcotte also survive along with six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In accordance with the wishes of Mrs. Robert, she was cremated and a memorial service will be held 4:30 P.M. FRIDAY, AUGUST 9, 2019 from the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 800 West Lake Drive, Athens, Georgia  30606.  The family will receive friends prior to the service 3:30 - 4:30 P.M. at the Church.
