Christopher Alan Presley

Christopher Alan Presley, born April 20, 1963, passed away on July 25 2019, leaving behind two daughters (Rachel and Allison) and four grandchildren.

Chris always enjoyed an ice-cold Coca-Cola, trying new recipes, going fishing, and putting people on the spot with some sort of backhanded comment. He was fluent in sarcasm and wisecracks. Chris was most comfy in a Hanes tee shirt and fleece pajama pants. He was a man of routine and had at least 4 bags of Lays sour cream & onion chips in the cabinet at any given moment. He would try anything once and wouldn’t hesitate to tell you his exact opinion about it. He pushed boundaries and never met a rule he couldn’t break. But when he loved you, you had no doubt.

If you’re wondering whether or not you ever met him, you didn’t; you would remember. He probably said something inappropriate and walked away before you had a chance to question his sincerity. He thoroughly enjoyed doing that.

He loved his grandchildren more than anything and he left his daughters with many fun childhood memories. From playing hide-and-seek in the dark to talking Rachel into pranking a Domino’s Pizza delivery lady, he was always ready to goof off. He would do just about anything for a laugh.

Chris had a unique spirit and loved hard. He made sure the people in his life knew they were there for a reason. We will definitely miss his stories, his laughter, his need to be loved, and his smart-aleck humor.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00pm on Tuesday August 6, 2019 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home, 1190 McEver Rd, Gainesville, GA 30504. Service will follow visitation at 3:00 pm.
