Micheal Stephen Turner

Micheal Stephen Turner, 32, passed away on July 26, 2019. Micheal grew up in Suches, but has been a resident of Dahlonega for the past 15 years. He loved hunting and dirt bike riding. He was devoted to his friends and family, and never turned away anyone needing his help.

Micheal is survived by his wife, Margaret Diane Swearingen Turner; Two children, Nathan Trent Turner and Kira Dixie Turner, all from Dahlonega; Mother and Stepfather, Sheila D. Blevins and Bernard P. Blevins of Dahlonega; Sister and brother-in-law, Cyndel S. Turner Dorsey and Jordan A. Dorsey of Gainesville; Brother, John W. Blevins of Dahlonega; Nieces and Nephew Alexandria, Scarlett, and Cayden Dorsey of Gainesville; Grandmothers, Angie Roper of Dahlonega and Marcie Turner of Dallas, Georgia. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.

Micheal is preceded in death by his father James Turner, Jr.; Grandmother, Shirley Stevens; and grandfathers, Gerald Roper, and James Turner, Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 3 p.m. in the chapel at Dahlonega Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends from 11 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Micheal’s name can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
