Mona Claudette Ash

Mona Claudette Ash, 82, of Clermont, GA, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness.

The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 28, 1937, in Cartersville, GA she was the daughter of the late Claude and Lurline Jenkins. She was retired from Wrigley’s with 25 plus years of service. Mrs. Ash was dearly loved and will be forever missed by her family and friends as well as her well-loved cats, Lil Mister and George.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jack Jenkins and children, Barry Douglas Anderson, Sandra Gail Anderson and Randall Eugene Anderson all of Clermont.

Mrs. Ash is survived by her two children, Penny Anderson of Clermont and Marcus (Mark) Black and wife Pamela; brothers, Terry Jenkins (Margie) of Murrayville, Nicholas Jenkins (Dorothy) of Dahlonega; sister, Karen Carr of Clermont; sister in law, Evelyn Jenkins; daughter in law, Peggy Anderson Hambrick (Buzz) of Gainesville; granddaughter, Misty Peek (Stacy) of Gainesville as well as great grandchildren, nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to ASPCA or the Hall County Humane Society in Gainesville, GA.
