James Hubert Moore

Mr. James Hubert Moore, age 86 of North Avenue, Eastanollee passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A son of the late Hubert and Winnie Kellar Moore, he was born February 2, 1933 in Stephens County and lived there most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Moore’s Industry and was co-owner of J.L. Packaging in Eastanollee. He was a member of Mount Airy Baptist Church and also donated property for the construction of Grace Baptist Church in Eastanollee.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Lynn Langston Moore; daughters and sons-in-law Barbara and Ron Bouknight of Cumming, Georgia and Nancy and Roby Martin of Marietta, Georgia; son James Michael and Kekio Moore of Decatur, Georgia; step-son Jimmy Moore of Eastanollee, Georgia; and step-daughter and husband Ginger Lynn and Chris McKinney of Charlotte, North Carolina; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
