Norma Jean Padgett

Norma Jean Padgett, age 85, of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, Weldon John Padgett, Sr.  Mrs. Padgett is survived by her children, James and Janice Stallings, Kansas City, MO, Ann and Dan Paul, Buford, GA, and Weldon John Padgett, Jr., Forest Park, GA; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Padgett was born January 26, 1934 in Yorkville, GA.  She was a 1958 graduate of Yorkville High School.  Mrs. Padgett was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.  “She enjoyed her puppies.”  A memorial service will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris McCuen officiating.  The family will receive friends 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2019.
