Rickey Scott Reeves

Rickey Scott Reeves age 53 of Commerce passed away Tuesday July 9, 2019 at the Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Reeves was born August 24, 1965 in Athens, GA to Betty Sue Tolbert and the late Richard Reeves. Rick was a field manager for Georgia Truss Company. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, he loved his Dawgs! Rick was of the Baptist faith, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include wife, Judy Reeves, son, & daughter in law, Tyler & Jori Reeves, step daughter & husband, Jill & Scott Hewell, mother, Betty Sue Tolbert, brothers, Eddie Reeves & Vince Reeves, grandchildren, Haley & Ella Mae Hewell, Brenya & Logan Wigley, mother in law & father in law, Mr. & Mrs. Bethel Wilson.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday July 13, 2019 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Buster Tolbert officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the service time.

To carry on Rick’s passion, please wear Georgia Bulldog apparel or anything red & black to celebrate his life. Rick is continuing his love for people his gift of donation is helping so many people in the United States.
