Oyd Daniel Clark, 81, passed away July 4, 2019 at his home in Cleveland, GA surrounded by loved ones.
Dan was born August 8, 1937 in Clay, KY. He attended Murray State University and after graduation served in the armed forces. Upon discharge he began his long career with Mid-State Steel & Wire Company. Dan never really retired and was involved with many projects until the time of his death.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Davidson Clark, parents Oyd B. and Jimmie N. Clark and brothers John Laurence Clark & Jerry Franklin Clark.
He is survived by 7 nieces and nephews, extended family, Marcella Weaver and her children Daniel and McKenzie and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday July 5th at Barrett Funeral Home. Services will be held in the Chapel at Barrett Funeral Home, Saturday July 6th at 11:00 am. The Rev. Tony Elrod will officiate. Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of North Georgia Medical Center 2150 Limestone Parkway, Ste. 222, Gainesville, GA 30501 would be appreciated.
