Dr. Julius Napoleon “Buck” Hill, III

Dr. Julius Napoleon “Buck” Hill, III., age 78 of Clarkesville, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 01, 2019.

Born in Murphy, North Carolina on May 01, 1941, he was a son of the late Julius Napoleon Hill, Jr. & Virginia Gilbert Hill. Dr. Hill was a United States Navy veteran who proudly served his country as a Lieutenant in the Medical Corp during the Vietnam War.  He was an honor graduate of Western Carolina where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in biology and chemistry and later earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Emory University. Dr. Hill was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Georgia Society of Anesthesiologists, and a member of the American Medical Association. He was also an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarkesville.

Survivors include former wife, friend, & companion, Pamela H. Hill of Charlotte, NC; his sons and daughters-in-law, Julius N. Hill, IV & Alexandra Hill of Geneva, Switzerland; Dr. David Hill, MD & Tara Hill of Charlotte, NC; brothers & sisters-in-law, Frank G. Hill & Jan Hill of Barnard, SD; Robert B. Hill & Luann Hill of Atlanta, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Sarah H. d’Empaire & Al d’Empaire of Wake Forest, NC; grandchildren, Carolyn Hill, Georgia Hill, Alex Hill, Luke Hill, Connor Hill,& Audrey Hill; several other relatives & friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 06, 2019 from the First Presbyterian Church of Clarkesville with Rev. Jasper Keith officiating.
