Jacob Tanner Branson, 20, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
Jacob was born October 30, 1998 and was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He was a 2017 graduate of Dawson County High School and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Reid & Reid Construction. An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being an amazing big brother to his younger brothers. He possessed an infectious smile and was always willing to help others. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alice Branson, and his Pawpaw, Ricky Otwell.
Surviving are his parents, Jack and Dana Branson, Dawsonville; brothers, Brandon Branson and Carson Branson, Dawsonville; grandparents, Fred and Shirley Branson, Dawsonville, Mary Ann Otwell, Cumming, Chuck and Sabrina Reeve, Dacula; great grandmother, Jeanette Buice, Cumming; aunts and uncles, Carrie Williamson, James and Brenda Branson, Mardee and Mike Burton, Brandy Branson, Allison and Brian Lowenthal, Steven Reeve, Zach Reeve, Wes and Tiffany Reeve, Niki and Kyle Wilson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2 o’clock at Harmony Baptist Church. Rev. Tony Holtzclaw, Rev. Bruce Alsup and Rev. Levi Alsup will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4 until 8 Friday at the funeral home.
