Gary Lee Ivester

Gary Lee Ivester, 62, of Gainesville passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Lewallen will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Born on January 1, 1957 in Gainesville, GA he was the son of the late Robert Ivester and Carolyn Connor. He was a Truck driver for Lindsey Window and Door. Mr. Ivester was a member of Community Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ivester is preceded in death by his son, Kerry Ivester; grandson, Tristen Scott Chapman and sister, Gail Ivester.
Mr. Ivester is survived by his wife, Louann Ivester of Gainesville; daughters, Kelly Chapman of Carnesville, Amanda Oden of Mansfield, OH; sons and daughters in law, Wayne and Stephanie Ivester of Cleveland, Chris and Maykie Cantrell of Lula, Craig and Michell Cantrell of Gainesville; 8 grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Robbie and Ricky Walden of Clermont; brother, Greg Ivester of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Tonya and Casey Thomason of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.
