Howard Franklin “Frank” Leathers, Jr., age 97 of Hoschton, GA, died Friday, June 21, 2019. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Rick Hanson and grandson Michael Downton will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 12-2 PM at the funeral home. Frank was preceded in death by his daughter Sandy Leathers.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Elizabeth Taylor Leathers, Braselton; daughters, Bunny Gauntt, Buford, Jenny Downton and husband Ronald, Social Circle; grandchildren, Laurie Leines, Sharpsburg, David Leines, Sharpsburg, Julie Abare, Marietta, Matthew Downton, Decatur, Michael Downton, Social Circle; great grandchildren, Tyler Leines, Newnan, Sarah Leines, Buford, Logun Downton, Social Circle, Bailey Abare, Marietta, Gage Downton, Social Circle, Heather Downton, Athens. Frank was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was a lifelong resident of the metro area.
