Harold Glenn Lockeby

Mr. Harold Glenn Lockeby, age 86 of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery.  Reverend Ricky Rider and Reverend Steve Barrett will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 2 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Lockeby was born October 21, 1932 in Forsyth County, Georgia to the late Eily Lockeby and Mandy Freeland Lockeby.  He faithfully attended Yellow Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty Wilson Lockeby.

Mr. Lockeby is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law, Rhonda & Steven Stovall of Murrayville, Sherry & Larry Meers of Commerce and Nancy & Steve Walters of Archdale, North Carolina, his son & daughter-in-law, Toby & Shonna Palmer of Dahlonega, his grandchildren, Jonah Stovall, Maggie Stovall, Carrie Christopher, Amber Head, Hannah Frazier, Maranda Hoover, Amber Meers, Tyler Rogers, Landon Meers, Brad Esco, Rebecca Frost, Andrew Walters and Graham Meers, his 12 great-grandchildren, sister, Hazel Brannon of Buford and very cherished friends, Cindy & Dwayne Fortner and Gracie Fortner.
