Matthew Scott Smith

Mr. Matthew Scott Smith age 27 of Dawsonville, Ga passed away on Thursday June 20, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday June 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Free Chapel Worship Center, Gainesville, Ga. Pastor Shane Hewitt will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday June 23, 2019 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Matthew was born on May 01, 1992 in Gainesville, Florida to Scott Smith and Jennifer Bullock Smith. Matthew worked as a technician for Active Pest Control. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Mary Bullock and Cecil and Florence Smith.  

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Katy Smith of Dawsonville, parents, Scott and Jennifer Smith of Dawsonville, sister, Christy Smith of Dawsonville, niece, Jennifer Royal of Dawsonville, nephew, Kaden Royal of Dawsonville, 4 aunts, and 4 uncles, mother-in-law, Olga Dominguez, sister-in-law’s, Stefany and Michelle,  and a host of other family members and friends.
