Rebecca Joann Dean

Miss Rebecca Joann Dean age 33 of Dalton passed away Thursday June 13, 2019 at Hamilton Medical Center from injuries obtained in an automobile accident.

A daughter of Teresa Dean and the late Kenneth Smith, she was born July 29, 1985 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived most of her life having lived the last seven years in Dalton. She was employed with the Hampton Inn of Dalton and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Smith.

Survivors include her mother Teresa Dean of Toccoa, grandmother Joann Brown of Toccoa, sister Amanda Norris of Toccoa, two nieces Caitlin Norris and Chloe Norris, four step-brothers Kenneth Smith, Bradley Smith, Kevin Smith and Brandon Smith all of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 18, 2019 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Ray Bohannon officiating. The family will be at the mother’s home 62 Fernbank Private Drive and will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.

Interment will follow in Toccoa City Cemetery.
