Louise Collier McCook

Mrs. Louise Collier McCook, age 90 of Deer Ridge Court, Eastanollee passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Fred D. and Lettye Coe Collier, she was born November 3, 1928 in Toccoa, Georgia on Doyle Street, having lived in Toccoa during the depression. She lived in Atlanta, Georgia for 40 years and retired from Meade-Johnson Company after 18 years of service. She later lived in Savannah for seven years and moved back to Toccoa in 1995. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Toccoa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Luther McCook in 1995 and by a sister, Martha Cohen.

Local survivors include her caregiver and niece, Susan Cohen and other aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces.

Graveside services will be Monday, June 17, 2019, 3:30 p.m. at the Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend David Ritcey officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 1:30 p.m. until time to leave for the graveside. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
