Charlotte Audrey Sawyer

Charlotte Audrey Sawyer, 86, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Oaks at Limestone.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Drewery Loggins officiating. The family will receive friends at the Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on November 6, 1933 in Atlanta, GA she was the daughter of the late Thomas Udon and Edith Bristol Grantham. She was retired from Gainesville Manufacturing where she worked as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Sawyer was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sawyer is preceded in death by her husband, William Richard Sawyer; daughter, Kimberly Griffin and sister, Carolyn Mangum.

Mrs. Sawyer is survived by her sister and brother in law, Brenda and Ernest Barrett of Simpsonville, SC; brothers and sisters in law, Thomas Larry and Shirlee Grantham of Fairburn, CA, Jeffrey Lavelle  and Darlene Grantham of Murphy, NC; son in law, Randall Griffin of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
