James Henry Roach Jr.

Mr. James Henry Roach, Jr., age 73, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019.

Mr. Roach was born in Jackson County, Ga to the late James Henry and Rosella Garrett Roach. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Patsy Thomas. Mr. Roach served in the US Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He was a Masonry Contractor, a member of the American Legion Post 16, and a member of Town Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife, Barbara Roach, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, John and Angie Roach, Cleveland; son, Jason Roach, Lavonia; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Laura Roach, Cleveland; grandson, Brayden Roach, Cleveland; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Roach, Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Jeryle and Debbie Roach, Cornelia; sister, Regina Berg, Helen; and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson, Rev. Casey Robinson, and Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow in Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
