Bobby Ray Hansford, age 64 of Bowman, GA passed away Monday, June 3, 2019.
Born on Dec. 17, 1954 in Athens, GA, he was the son of the late Phillip and Dorothy Sorrow Hansford. He was a truck driver, was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Hansford, Jr. and a sister, Doris Hansford.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Lee Hansford of the residence; sons, Bobby Ray Hansford, Jr., Kevin (Tammy) Hansford; daughters, Martha Dale, Rebecca (Jerry) Craver, Bonnie Gaddis, Melisa Croya, Maria (Chris) Ping, Rose (Phil) Craver; sisters, Gail Plunkett and Vicky Moore; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Friday, June 7, 2019 at Double Branches Baptist Church, 287 Double Branches Church Rd., Canon, GA with the Rev. Kenny Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 10 am until time of the service Friday at the church.
