Roy Gene Hibbitt, Sr

Roy Gene Hibbitt, Sr age 65 of Jefferson passed away June 3, 2019.

Mr. Hibbitt was born October 27, 1953 in Jackson, Tennessee to the late James Curtis & Jo Hilda Melton Hibbitt. He worked at Buhler and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Shianne Hibbitt and brother, James Hibbitt.

Survivors include, wife, Brenda Hibbitt of the home, sons& daughters in law, Marc & Dawn Carter of Nicholson, Roy Jr. & Lou Hibbitt of Jefferson, Shane & Sonia Hibbitt of Danielsville, brothers, Wayne Hibbitt of North Carolina & David Hibbitt of Tennessee, sisters, Marilyn Monceir & Coylene Whitman both of Tennessee. 8 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild also survive.

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday June 7, 2019 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Owen McNatt officiating. Burial will follow in Woodbine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
