Irene E. Pace

Mrs. Irene E. Pace, age 81, of Commerce, GA died Monday, June 3, 2019 at her residence.  Mrs. Pace was born in Commerce to the late Mell and Frances Williamson Cowart.  She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and a long time secretary of Banks County Lioness Club.  She was the retired owner of a coin laundry.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pace was preceded in death by her husband, Horace E. Pace; and daughters, Cathy Bruce and Carol Denton.

Mrs. Pace is survived by her daughter, Barbara King of Myrtle Beach, SC; sons, David Pace and John Pace both of Commerce; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Thursday, June 6 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Rising officiating.  Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM.
