Douglas Washington Chambers

Douglas Washington Chambers, 53, of Murrayville, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on November 20, 1965 in Gainesville he was the son of the late Herman and Frieda Passmore Chambers. He was a supervisor for U.S. Customize Finishes.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Chambers is preceded in death by his brothers, James Chambers and Dean Chambers.

Mr. Chambers is survived by his wife, Donna Davis Chambers of Murrayville; daughter, Holly Doyle of Murrayville; step-son, Chris Hilderhoff of Cleveland; grandsons, Jacob Donnelly of Murrayville, Austin Doyle of Murrayville; granddaughter, Brianna Hilderhoff of Cleveland; sister, Brenda McCollum; son in law, Brandon Doyle of Murrayville and a number of other relatives.
