Retired Staff Sgt. Junior Welton Cronic

Retired Staff Sgt. Junior Welton Cronic, 89, of Tucker, GA formerly of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, May 28, 2019.  He was preceded in death by parents, Grady and Gertrude Roberts Cronic; twin brother, James Felton Cronic, brother, Horace Frank Cronic, and sister Louise Cronic Grosh and her husband Henry.  Mr. Cronic is survived by nieces, Esther Grosh Reque and husband Eric; Rebekah Yute, Tamra Grosh, Wanda Cronic Sales, and husband Kenneth, Karen Cronic Baker, and husband Todd, Lisa Cronic Goines, and husband Phillip, Amanda Hood Robinson and husband Caleb, and Rachel Hood; nephews, Jonathan Grosh, Caleb Grosh, Joshua Kevin Grosh, Joshua Alan Yute, Jason Warner; first cousins, Roberta Luther Sloan, and Frank Luther; and numerous great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives. Mr. Cronic was born on March 4, 1930 in Commerce, GA.  He was a 1947 graduate of Commerce High School, and he attended the University of Georgia. Mr. Cronic retired from U. S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant after twenty-one years of service. He was a member of Lawrenceville Church of Christ and he was an avid football fan. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, May 31, 2019 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev.
