Bart Vandiver Gasaway

Bart Vandiver Gasaway, age 61, of Buford, GA passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen P. and Ella Grace Gasaway; brother, Glen Perry Gasaway, Jr.  Mr. Gasaway was survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Toney and Wayne Lancaster, Buford, GA, Paige Surface, Snellville, GA; niece, Ansley Surface, Atlanta, GA; nephew, Christopher Surface, Atlanta, GA; nephews, Creighton and Tia Lancaster, Hoschton, GA, Stuart and Hilary Lancaster, Hoschton, GA; several great nieces and great nephews.  Mr. Gasaway was born January 26. 1958 in Gainesville, GA.  He was a 1976 graduate of Buford High School, Buford, GA and attended Truitt McConnell College, Cleveland, GA.  Mr. Gasaway was a carpenter by trade.  He attended Suwanee First Baptist Church, Suwanee, GA and Hebron Baptist Church, Dacula, GA.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Foundation in memory of Bart Gasaway.
