Elena del Coro, 58, passed away at Northside Hospital on May 23, 2019 at 1:50 pm after an arduous battle with multiple ailments brought on by a rare autoimmune disease.
She is survived by her fiancé, Jeffrey B. Pease; her brother, Danny Benmuhar; her stepfather, Moises Benmuhar; her close friend who she considered a sister, Ruth Evelyn Diaz; and Ruth’s daughter Francine. She is without doubt in the loving arms of our Lord. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Elena was born in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico on January 29th and was the daughter of the late Cynthia Hernandez and Rafael del Coro.
Elena owned her own translating firm and worked with several attorneys in Georgia.
All who met Elena saw her as an upbeat influence in their life. She was full of energy, loved working out and always enjoyed meeting new friends. She enjoyed traveling and was lucky enough to see many countries throughout World. She also loved fashion; and, had a passion for the culinary arts.
A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 1st from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. The location is: Piedmont Corners Clubhouse at 1615 Rolling View Drive, Cumming, GA 30040. At 4:00 PM we will have a short service, allowing anyone to share their fond memories of Elena. All are welcome to attend – this will be a celebration of her life and the incredible positive impact she had on all us.
