Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Olive June Croslin, lovingly known as “Granny”, age 87 of Jefferson who entered into rest Saturday, May 25, 2019. Mrs. Croslin was born in Jackson County, Illinois, a daughter of the late Willard Earl Stearns and the late Verna Leota Lambert Stearns. A graduate from Vanderbilt-Peabody University, Nashville, Tennessee, Mrs. Croslin was employed by Troy University in Troy, Alabama. Upon retirement, Mrs. Croslin and her husband moved to Georgia where she became a member of the First Baptist Church of Snellville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Croslin is preceded by her husband, Kenneth Croslin.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Croslin and his wife Brenda of Leland, Mississippi, Terry Croslin and his wife Helen of Jefferson, Georgia. Grandchildren; Amber Morgan (Jerry) of San Antonio, Texas, Jessica Hodge (Ryan) of Dacula, Georgia, Hannah Seaman (Michael) of Buford, Georgia. Great - grandchildren Kaydence, Reed, and Briggs Hodge, and Nathanael and Genesis Seaman.
Burial service and family visitation will be held at the gravesite 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from the Snellville Historical Cemetery, Snellville, Georgia.
