Mary Ellen Bailey

Mary Ellen Bailey, beloved wife and mother, passed away, at the age of 69, on May 24, 2019.

Mary was born on November 24, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Dick Broderson and Fae (Carter) Broderson.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, May 26, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Mary bravely battled numerous health issues over the last six years, including a lung transplant, kidney failure, serious orthopedic surgeries, breast cancer and many infections. People have said she is the strongest woman they knew. The body finally broke down but her spirit did not.

 She enjoyed volunteering and helping others. Children especially had a special place in her heart.

Mary is survived by her husband, Danny; sons and daughter’s in law, Gary (Richie) and Jinger; Josh and Dottie; son, Michael; grandchildren, Grace, Maggie and Lydia; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Ken; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sulan and Rickie. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her grandson, Will.
