Mr. Clinton Mark Haddock, age 53 of Eastanollee passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Stephens County Hospital.
A son of Dale Watkins Mize and the late Dean Haddock, he was born April 27, 1966 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. Mark was a machinist and worked for Patterson Pump for over 27 years and attended North Georgia Technical College. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. In past years, he attended Grace Baptist Church where he was a deacon and drove the church van. He also sang in the choir, was a Sunday School teacher, and helped with the youth group. Mark had been president of the Band Boosters for the SCHS Marching Band and helped with the SCMS Marching Band. He had coached little league and travel baseball and always enjoyed spending time with his baseball friends. He loved spending time with his boys, Anthony and Jacob. He loved his wife Tammey. They would have celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary this year. He loved riding his motorcycle with Tammey and was a member of the Harley Owners Group of Greenville, SC. He rode in several Wreaths Across America Rides with some of his best riding buddies. Mark loved his grandchildren, Madison and Gibson Haddock. He recently coached Gibson’s baseball team and loved watching Madison dance and twirl. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Ila Watkins.
Survivors include his mother, Dale Watkins Mize of Eastanollee; wife, Tammey Powell Haddock of the home; sons, Jacob Mark Haddock of the home and Joseph Anthony Haddock of Eastanollee; two grandchildren, Madison Haddock and Gibson Haddock; half sister, Deana Haddock of Jacksonville, Florida; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Linda Powell of Toccoa; special family member, Gary Finley; favorite cousin, Shanon Watkins.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 24, 2019, 11 O’clock a.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Joey Stewart, The Reverend Brad Crowe and Mr. Jeff Nelson officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jacob Haddock, Anthony Haddock, Tim Quick, Konner Quick, Steve Pless, Kevin Jackson and Jonathon Norton.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Clinton Mark Haddock.
