Raymond Walton Bagwell

Raymond Walton Bagwell, age 85, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2019. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Raymond was a loving husband, father, pops who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rayford and Agnes Pittman; son-in-law, Rev. Danny Hicks; grandchild, Brandon Cole Bagwell; infant great-great grandson; 2 brothers; 3 sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Fannie Mae Bagwell; daughter, Kathy Hicks; sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and June Bagwell, Steven Bagwell, Stacey and Christie Bagwell; sisters and brothers, Vena Burnett, Rayford (Juanita) Bagwell, Hazel Ann Bagwell, Shirley (Jerry) Helton; brothers-in-law, Joe Barrett, Bobby Pilcher, Jerry Garland; sister-in-law, Myrle Williams; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23rd at 11:00 am at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Nix and Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment will follow in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and Thursday 9:00 am until hour of service.
