Christopher Michael Wethington

Christopher Michael Wethington, age 28, of Nashville, TN, formerly of Gainesville, GA, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019.

Michael lived most of his life in Gainesville, GA and was a 2009 graduate of North Hall High School. He worked as a diesel mechanic and served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved his baby girl more than anything in the world, and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughter, Kinleigh Jeanne Wethington; mother and step-father, Rhonda Whitfield Wethington and Randall Walter; father and step-mother, Chris and Jennifer Wethington; brother and sister-in-law, Heath and Kayleigh Neal; sisters, Katlyn Wheeler and Sarah Kramer; grandparents, Wanda Oliver and Michael Fraser, and Rick and Carolyn Whitfield; and great grandparents, Ruth and Bill Kepler. 3 nephews, 1 niece, and host of other relatives, and many friends also survive. 

Funeral services for Michael are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, May 24, 2019 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.

Rev. Ricky Elrod will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in Alto, GA.

Military Honors will be provided by the Veteran’s Alliance Honor Guard. 

The family will receive friends at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 22 and from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 23.
