Joy Faye Loden

Joy Fay Loden, 67, of Lula passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Rev. Len Land will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 17, 1952 in Gainesville, GA she was the daughter of the late George and Willie Ruth Abernathy Wilson. She was retired from Avery Label and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Loden is preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Wilson and daughter Tammy Lynn Loden.

Mrs. Loden is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Loden of Lula; sister, Betty Miller (Wiley) of Lula; brother, Clyde Wilson (Linda) of Lula, brother, Clinton Wilson (Fannie) of Lula; sister, Vickie Craven of Lula; granddaughter, Brittany Williams of Gainesville; grandson, Dustin Williams of Atlanta and a number of other relatives.
