Sgt. E5 Nathaniel “Nathan” L. Martin, age 30, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Belinda and Larry Hall, Carolyn Deberry and Ezra Mae Johnson; great grandfather, Jacob Johnson; and cousins, Allen Willard and Taylor Martin. He is survived by his wife of seven years, Brittany Willard Martin, Buford, GA; children, Kayne Martin and Payton Martin; father, David and Shannon Martin, Lilburn, GA; mother, Michelle and Casey Bischoff, Birmingham, AL; step sisters, Koirr Kilgore, Kolby Ferguson, Stephanie Ferguson, and Chandler Bischoff; step brother, Jordan Weaver; half sister, Keira Martin; half brother, Noah Martin; grandmother, Faye and Ron Deberry, Guntersville, AL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Kimberly Willard, Buford, GA; several cousins, Jessika Willard, Collin, Kelly, Tyler, Jared, Kayla, Morgan, Nick Martin and Karrissa Martin; and other relatives of the Martin Family, Deberry Family, Bischoff Family, Horace Stowe Family and Jimmy Willard Family. Mr. Martin was born July 18, 1988 in Lawrenceville, GA. He was an Airborne Medic in the U. S. Army for the past ten years and he was a member of the A.M.A. He attended Buford Church of God. Funeral services for Sgt. E5 Nathaniel “Nathan” L. Martin will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Grizzle and Pastor Stephen Fountain officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
