William Berry “Bill” Angel

Angel, William Berry “Bill”, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. William was 79 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Furman Angel and Hattie Messer Angel, four sisters and one brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Janice W. Angel, son, Eric William Angel and his wife Kelly, granddaughter, Izzy Angel, grandson, Zach Angel, Alpharetta, GA; one sister, Dean Benjamin, Greenville, SC; one brother, Douglas Angel, Williamsburg, KY; and many nieces and nephews who were very dear to their uncle.

William was very proud to have served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Stanley Bostitch after 33 years where he was Regional Service Manager for the southeastern states.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in William’s honor to: Emory Winship Cancer Institute, 1365 C Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30322 OR Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 1450 Pine Road, Dacula, GA 30019.

Visitation will be May 16, 2019 at 1:00PM at the Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel and Gardens, 3481 Hamilton Mill Road, Buford, GA 30519. Immediately following the visitation, the memorial service will be in the chapel at 2:00PM.
