Janice Marlowe Reed, 74

Ms. Reed passed away peacefully on May 10, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She is to be interred at Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville. She is preceded in death by parents, Marguerite and Bud Thompson, Flowery Branch, GA; father, James C. Marlowe; brother, Clifford E. Marlowe, Gainesville, GA and sisters, Iris L. Splawn, Acworth, GA and Lydia E. Gale, Flowery Branch, GA.

Ms. Reed is survived by her daughters, Alicia Grizzle and Kristina Burrell and husband, John.  Also survived by four wonderful grandsons, Andrew and Anderson, Reed and Cord Mason. Several nieces and nephews; Angel Johnson, Cumming, GA, Michael Splawn, Commerce, GA, Robbie Splawn, Winder, GA. Also survived by great nieces and great nephews; Marla Splawn and Aiden Holland and as well as a very special great niece, Ansley Jade Holland, Cumming, GA; also a very special friend, Carolyn Anderson, Gainesville, GA.

She has resided the last four years in Rabun County at Mountain View Storage Facility, C7B.

The family will be holding a private service to celebrate Ms. Reed’s life.
