He is also survived by his niece, Lorri Stimson Ramey and her son Cameron Ramey; nephew, Matthew (Julie) Stimson and their children Jase and Sophia; brother-in-law, Paul (Robyn) Harris and their children Paul II and Michael; niece Martha (Mark) Kametches and their children Catherine and Parker; and nephew, Alvin Franklin Harris IV as well as many much loved cousins in Maine.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Hylda Wills Stimson; and by his brother-in-law, Alvin Franklin Harris III and sister-in-law Harriet Noble Harris.
Roger lived his life with great happiness and joy. He had a contagious laugh and was known as the life of the party. His attitude was always optimistic and brightened the lives of everyone around him. He was viewed as a mentor by many, and numerous people have continuously spoken of the positive impact that he had on their lives. He relished time together with family and friends often wearing a “special occasion” hat from his vast collection which was gathered from years of travel and adventure. He enjoyed spending time on his boat and living the lake life, his time at Xerox Corporation, old cars, traveling the world, golf (although frustrated by the game) and was disappointed he never won the neighborhood cylinders count contest.
