Lonnie Edward Waldrop

Lonnie Edward Waldrop, of Dawsonville, GA. Passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Lonnie was born in 1938, to the late James and Beatrice Waldrop. He worked for Fulton Concrete for 28 years. Lonnie was a loving, wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He always wore a smile and enjoyed spending time with his loving family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Torres; granddaughter, Melissa Sams; and grandson, Lonnie Lamar Ferrell.

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife, Dura Waldrop; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Danny Dixon; grandchildren, Missy (Brian) Bailey, Anna (Eddie) Cruz, Brandy (Zack) Williams, and DJ Mills; great grandchildren, Shalyn, Alissa, Taya, Kile, Laithen, Jessi, Thomas, Bella, and Sammi; brothers, Phil and Mack Waldrop; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held, Friday, May 10, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Moon officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
