Elsie June Noble Brangham

Elsie June Noble Brangham, age 87 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019.

June was born in Lawrence County, OH to the late Emery and Florence Griswold Noble on December 9, 1931. With late husband Sid, they owned and operated their own insurance agency in Southern California. They were also members of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, being involved in search and rescue and helping stranded boaters in the Santa Monica Bay. Following her retirement in 1995, June and her husband traveled extensively through all 50 states. After moving to White County in 1995, she became a very faithful member St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church.

She will always be remembered for her love of the beach and her beautiful garden. One of the highlights of June’s life was helping families affected by addiction by sharing her experiences, strength, and hope. Later in life, June remained an avid bowler and never missed a choir practice at church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family around the dinner table, in the theatre, or at the soccer field.

June is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Waldie and Leslie Brangham; daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Chris Nonnemaker; grandchildren, Brandon and Mallory Nonnemaker, Trevor and Annie Brangham, Sean Nonnemaker and Wendy Nagy, Derek and Jenna Brangham, Emily Rose Nonnemaker; great-grandchildren, Harper Nonnemaker, Fletcher Nonnemaker, Finley Nonnemaker, Emarie Brangham.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10am with Father Thad Rudd officiating. With a reception to follow in the social hall of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at www.stjude.org/donate.
