Nell Lawana Allen

Nell Lawanna Allen, 82 of Chicopee passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019.

A graveside service will be held at Center Methodist Church Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2019. Rev. Marty Cason will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Saturday, May 4th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Born on February 4, 1937 in Hoschton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mattie Lou Alford. She was a homemaker and a member of Center Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her husband, Grover Allen; son, Mark Allen and sister, Betty Ann Baker.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her daughters, Jackie Goss (Jeff) of Flowery Branch, Diane Brock (Oscar) of Gainesville; son, Mike Allen of Gillsville; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
