Lt. John Germano

Lt. John Germano of the Dekalb County Police Department, age 52, of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019. He is survived by son, Michael Daniel Germano, Buford; daughter, Victoria Jennie Germano, Buford; father, John Germano and mother, Santa F. Germano, both of Lakewood, NJ; sister, Linda (Walter) Pevny, Sugarloaf, NY; and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Mr. Germano was born on July 5, 1966 in Hackensack, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Pascack Hills High School in Montvale, NJ, and of GA State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Germano was a veteran of the U. S. Marines, and he was a Dekalb County policeman. He was of the Catholic faith. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 South Lee St, Buford, GA 30518 with Deacon Don Nadeau officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 at the funeral home.
