Montaree Cox Richards, age 96 of Buford, GA, died Monday, April 29, 2019. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 4 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Gerral Richards, Pastor Billy Shirley and Brett Richards will officiate. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or the family request contributions be made to Kindred Hospice or Sugar Hill Church in memory of Montaree. Montaree was preceded in death by her husband, J. Walter Richards. She is survived by her sons, Larry Richards and wife Janice, Roswell, Fred Richards and wife Brenda, Buford, Marty Richards, Buford; grandchildren, Blake Richards, Heather Hollingsworth and husband Travis, Brett Richards and wife Kirby, Tiffany Knighton and husband John; great grandchildren, Hunter, Ansley, Audrey, Grant, Jack, Will, Drew, Ella, and Emma. Montaree was born in Canton, GA and was a life long resident of the metro Atlanta area and was a member of Sugar Hill Church.
