Silvia Mederos Melugin

Silvia Mederos Melugin, age 55, of Buford, GA, passed away, Sunday, April 28, 2019.  She was preceded in death by his father, Jose P. Mederos.  Mrs. Melugin is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Michael R. Melugin, Buford, GA; children, Ashley Nicole Melugin, Buford, GA and Nicholas Joseph Melugin, Buford,GA; mother, Lucila S. Mederos, Houston, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Estella and Jimmy Zimmerman, Houston, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jose “Pepe” and Diana Mederos, Caracas, Venezuela, Fernando and Virginia Mederos, Orlando, FL, Armando and Leslie Mederos, Houston, TX, Ricky Mederos, New Braunfels, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Melugin was born August 5, 1963 in Caracas, Venezuela. She was a 1981 graduate of Dobie High School, Pasadena, TX.  Mrs. Melugin attended University of Houston, TX. 

She was a homemaker and member of Sugar Hill Church, Sugar Hill, GA.  Mrs. Melugin was a coordinator for American Heritage Girls, Troup 513 of Sugar Hill Church, which was one of her passions.  A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Sugar Hill Church Chapel, with Pastor Chuck Allen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heritage Girls, 175 Tri-County Parkway, Suite 100, Cincinnati, OH 45246, and on memo line of check, show in memory of Silvia Melugin, or bring a photo of Silvia to the memorial service.
